  "I'll get the cons out of the way: renos on the rooms were still going on and you're getting the basics in the rooms compared to the rest of the hotel. They don't take credit cards etc but they do use paypal and of course they take US currency. Now, onto the pros... The staff were awesome, helpful..." (speak English), friendly and went out of their way to make me and my friend get settled. If you're not familiar with the black market currency exchange on the island, they are pretty accurate and honest about rates and realities. This was the best place we came across for wifi and they make a mean cappucino, if you're looking for some familiar comforts. From the street, the hotel looks inconspicuous... high priced hotels one direction and low income housing on the other. The staff again, were security conscious and took some simple but effective precautions. The location was otherwise ideal, like the other reviews point out.
