I do believe some people will complain about whatever they can find to get a free room or a discount! It is sad to bring a place down to get your way. None of what was said is true in the least! The people employed here are the friendliest we have ever and will go out of their way to please and make your stay the best they can make it. We will be back in November and can hardly wait!   "Kulu Bay Resort was absolutely incredible, the bures are very spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and will do anything to help you and for fill customers needs, the snorkelling and diving was fantastic, including the shark dive, this i would highly recommend if you are into diving!! You..." certainly will not go hungry here, plenty to eat, at breakfast lunch and dinner, the food was delicious....for us, a little 'western', we would have liked to of seen a little more traditional fijian dishes. Five nights went far too quickly, we would have loved a little more time. The visit to the sand bar trip/picnic is an absolute must!!! This was the highlight, it is out of this world!! The only point i would make is that everything is priced up in US Dollar, so when you come to settle up any extras you had it adds up pretty quick, as opposed to paying in Fijian dollar. The great thing about this place is how quite it is, you can do as little or as much as you like. We chose the "do more" option and had 4 awesome dives with Josiah and Sabine, excellent guides, very professional, all the gear is nice and new too. Some of the best diving I have done and then we did the beqa lagoon shark dive which was crazy! thousands of fish and heaps of huge sharks. We also did some cultural activities including a local village tour, kava ceremonies, fire walking and sunset cruise.
