  "Having booked a four night break more than five weeks in advance and requesting a harbour view, I was somewhat surprised to be directed to a room overlooking the dining room! A very unhelpful receptionist advised me that the hotel was completely full and there was no chance of a room with a view......."my daughter called reception from her mobile within a few minutes and there was room at the Inn!!! Nevertheless I spoke to the very nice manager who assured me that the room requested in the booking would be available next morning. The same unhelpful receptionist said to try back again after 3pm. When we returned to the hotel for dinner the manager allocated us room 8 and commented that he had been trying to find us earlier in the day to move us! Room 8 was much better although directly above the lounge. The entertainment was loud but stopped at 11pm. Meals were delicious with a vast choice. Booking was easy and Ken will offer great advice on outdoor activities in the area as he is an experienced climbing/walking guide. Although we were travell..."ing without Ken he made sure he knew where we would be during our trip and noted our intended route and location on an OS map just in case, very professional. You will recieve a warm welcome from both Ken and Teresa who made us feel very much at home, the rooms were spotless and warm with fantastic ensuite showers and there is ample secure parking. You also have access to a large lounge with a wood burning stove, just what we needed after three days in the hills and lochs in pretty wet weather and take some time to look at the couples fantastic sunken mountaineering display in the hallway, fantastic!   "Couldn't fault the service at this lovely bed and breakfast. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. We were even allowed to put our 10 month old son in a different room meaning everyone got a great nights sleep. Clean, comfortable, cosy and very tasty breakfast. We will return!"
