  "I read the top reviews of this hostel and decided to stay there based on this. Happy to say that this hostel definitely deserves the top marks it has been getting and they work HARD for it. The Good: - Lovely building. Large common room with couch, TV and pool table. Nice outdoor area and..." terrace. Breakfast room was great, retractable roof which the staff alays seem to open at just the right time. - Top staff - run by a family. As friendly as could be, helpful and with good English. I bought two beers from the fridge and the owner went running off to get a bottle opener, or so I thought, he came back with two frosted glasses fresh from the freezer to make sure my beer was perfect.   "This is a very new hostel in San Miguel de Tucumán...about 5-6 blocks from the main square. [I think it has only been open for six months.] It is incredibly clean; with some private rooms....but mostly big single-sex dorms (10 - 12 beds). What over-whelmed me, though, was how friendly -- even by Arg..."entine standards -- they were there. [I said "even by Argentine standards" because Argentine hostals are almost always very friendly.] It is owned, and run, by a family, and maybe that´s why. I had usually stayed at "Backpacker´s Tucumán" when I passed through this city (I have needed to change buses, and needed to sleep, in this city, several times over the past 8-10 years of Argentina travel). However, TripAdvisor told me that Backpacker´s Tucumán is pretty "run down" these days (indeed, the last time I was there -- four years ago -- I recall saying to myself that it "needed some work").
