  "Needed a place to stay near a friend's apartment. Location was excellent, near to the train station and easy walking distance (10 minutes) into the Unesco World Heritage downtown area. Good jogging nearby along the river, and looping around into the main park. Recommend staying on the upper floors..." (there are only 6) for a view of the local cathedral and for good light. Rooms on lower floors might be a bit dark for those who care about such things. Hotel staff are wonderful, friendly and accommodating. I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak English but that was fine! Breakfast is varied and you can fill up if you need to save money by not eating lunch. Wifi worked very well throughout the hotel except for a couple of black spots. If you need wifi in your room to work well, check it on your PC before unpacking. Hotel can arrange a good private transfer back to Cordoba airport which is safe. Most of all the price was hugely reasonable, especially compared to more seedy lookin... " More >
