The hotel is set in beautifully maintained, extensive gardens with seats and loungers dotted throughout, and right on the river - so there is always something to watch as you sip your sundowner. Bit of a hike from the town centre, mind you. If you want to take the minibus t..."o Istuzu beach (and you certainly should), it will take you 25 minutes walk to get to the bus station. The rooms are very well-furnished. We had a suite overlooking the pool. Two rooms, both with air-con (and a flat screen TV in each room) and both furnished with elegant, simple, furnishings - lots of storage space - and a minibar. Ignore all the old reviews that talk about surly staff. There has clearly been a staff revolution. The maids, the waiters and the barmen could not be more pleasant or helpful.
