"The people running this place are amazing. They are so nice, and helpful, making you feel like family while you are there. We had almost all of the cabins rented for our Son's Wedding weekend. It could not have been better, unless it were warmer and the sun was shining, but that had nothing to do wi..."th the Lodge. The name Lodge is not accurate. You stay in small cabins that have a queen bed, a set of bunk beds and a futon.

"In May, 2013, our family and friends gathered at Alaska Red Fish Lodge to witness and celebrate our son's wedding. Aaron and crew opened a week early for us, as we took up 12 cabins. We didn't do much fishing- too early- but they were eager to accommodate any other requests we had, and even provid..."ed a halibut-taco dinner for us one evening. The cabins are clean and well-equipped. The Kenai River is a short walk down the trail or a quick drive to their private access.
Although there isn't a whole lot in Sterling, Soldotna is but 10 miles down the road, and you can provision there easily. Don't miss the Hardware/Fishing store there.

Everything else, and I do mean everything, is taken care of by the staff. Meals were excellent; prepared/presented very nicely, and featured plenty of variety through...
