Jean went out of her way to make sure we had great breakfast food even though our 'be on the boat' time was 5 a.m. When we finally had the chance to sleep in a bit and have one of her '..."real' breakfasts we were not disappointed! From our window we watched eagles, and the constant change and movement of sea life. The walk to town is a short 10 minutes. In short, wonderful location, wonderful host, wonderful food.   "I just spent the month of March in Petersburg doing Construction work. Along with my crew, four others, we stayed at the Tides Inn. Everything about the stay was a good experience. The rooms were clean and quiet, the breakfast was standard cerial and breads + waffles. All of the staff were great...", they even cooked us dinner a few nights. I have another job in Petersburg next fall and this is where I will stay. They are also the local AVIS car rental. " More >

  "The Scandia House is centrally located right downtown. They provided shuttle from airport and to the ferry terminal upon departure. The town is small enough you can easliy walk to anywhere else, including hiking trails, the bike rental shop and restaurants. WiFi at $3 a day is resonable. The local l..."ibrary has free wi-fi and you can print stuff there, if needed. Coffee shop off the lobby. Airport and ferry are two minutes away from the Hotel. Continental breakfast was coffee, juice and muffins. Parking out front is limited to one hour, but ddditional parking is avail on 1st Street off the back of the hotel. " More >
