  "This was a wonderful vacation. Other than a little bit of a mix-up when we checked in - which was corrected quickly - it was a fantastic holiday. When we checked in they put us in the Premium Beachfront Bungalow even though we had upgraded to the Ultimate Beachfront Suite. We called the front d..."esk and they corrected the problem and they more than compensated us for the troubles. The room was beautiful - very spacious with a living room area. The bathroom was spacious with a very large shower. We also had an outdoor bath shower that was fun to use. We had 2 decks where we could lounge outside, one outside the patio door and one a few steps down from there. We also had 2 loungers right on the beach in front of our bungalow. We had great views of the beach and ocean. The property was very lush and beautiful. The staff was wonderful. They were always cheerful and friendly. We had some of the best service here.   "As Steve said as we looked across the narrow channel to the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort, they're paying $400 to $700 to look across at us. The motor scooter was included and very useful to go downtown to stock up on some food & drink items although we enjoyed trying out the 3 closest retaurants and bars:..." Samade, Koru & Boat Shed. They all provided good, well prepared and reasonable priced food. The room was basic but clean and relatively spacious. As noted by some others, the eco-toilet was no problem and gave no smells. There was plenty of hot water for our showers and washing. We didn't cook in our room but appreciated the fridge, utensils and kitchen sink. The transfers from and back to the airport were included. As we were there from Saturday afternoon to Tuesday morning we went to the main church (by scooter) on Sunday (oldest and largest on Cook Islands) for some amazing singing and on Monday, walked to the Vaca Lagoon Cruise for snorkelling and to visit the outer islands / motus. The interior was nice, clean, kitchen well equipped, Joe and the staff were very friendly, met us at the airport, took us to the Heinekin store before checking in, took us to town one day and dropped us off at the airport. The Weds night BBQ dinner was great, we also walked down the beach for two great dinners at Tamanu Beach Resort and spent a fabulous day snorkeling with Teking.
