  "This review is a bit late but still had to thank the Maya team and make everyone aware of how good this place is. We stayed here for 2nights as part of our honeymoon. We felt like royalty while we were here - the staff were amazing and did everything they could to make our honeymoon so special. We ..."had this place to ourselves too so it was very quiet and peaceful and romantic. We had a surprise heart shaped cake with candles for our first night and beautiful flowers on the bed after dinner. The food was exquisite and we didn't want to leave! The hotel is fitted out beautifully with class and attention to detail. The location is scenic with beautiful sunsets while the peacocks wander the rice paddies in front of the hotel grounds. The hospitality shown by the owner and staff was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed family meals every evening and the chef was happy to prepare us meals which were not always on the menu but were traditional dishes which we wanted to taste. Walk along th..."e road to the left 500 metres and you will find another scenic bay. Head right out to the far end and you will find a rustic little shack serving up some tasty food and cold drinks. There are chairs on the beach where you can sit under a shady tree reading a book with an ice cold beer. There is also a gap in the rock ledge to hit the water for a swim.
