We decided to pay the little bit extra to have a sea-facing unit, which is an absolute must! it is not always clear to see from photographs on the Internet what a resort really looks like, so I will try to explain a bit. MCBR is built on a long, narrow piece of land right on the beach. It consists of 5 separate buildings, one behind the other, blocks A to E, with block A being the units that are sea-facing, and block E being close to the road and entrance.   "Its a nice resort, fulfills every thing which a 3 star or 4 star property should have. Rooms are big, I took 316 with pool view. Welcome was warm and energetic with refreshing towel and cocktails by Sudhir. Its a lush green resort with beautiful pool side bar and restaurant. About food "Tandoor" res..."taurant is really good, serves delicious meals. Indigo serves breakfast with lots of European options along with 1 Indian dish as well whose taste was always good. Now coming to Discrimination :- It doesn't happens in Tarisa, at least me and other people with us , didn't find a single moment, even I was afraid after reading comments of people but what i found was totally opposite. I always got a pool side table, always got glass bottom boats ride,not even a sign of discimination was there. Other than this managers of Tarisa personally interacts with you and every time they ask if we are okay and always ready to resolve if there is an issue.   "Excellent stay. We had two apartments numbers 15 and 16 in the corner which were inter-connected. The apartments were spacious and although basic had everything you needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The rooms had aircon and although was noisy in one of the bedrooms the on site manager resolve..."d the issued within an hour. The cleaners were all very polite and kept the rooms clean every day. Less than a 3 minute walk to a really nice beach. Its a great place to use as a base in which to go and explore the island. We used the spa for treatments which were great value for money.
