  "This is a good hotel with a nice pool in a decent location. We got our room with sea view balcony for about £100 a night through booking.com two days before departure. The rooms are clean and the design and size are fine. Our only problem was not with the design of the toilet (!!!! See below !!!!...") but with the really terrible breakfast-quantity over quality. The cooked food was awful and the juices were the kind you might be served in a hospital. That aside we would stay here again (just never eat here) if we could get a similar deal on the room.   "We were surprised at how big our room was . Nice large bed . Couch , desk chairs and lots of space . Noisy at night but not too late .Excellent breakfast in the morning . They didn't replace our toilet paper even though we were completely out of it . They did not really make the bed , just pulled the comforter up . However , on the other hand , when we had to leave very early to catch a ferry to Split they were very helpful and got up early to make us breakfast and took our bags down to the ferry dock .   "When I was choosing hotel in Hvar I wanted something really nice and not too busy, and when we entered Amfora hotel I knew that our choice was perfect for what we were looking for! we had 2 rooms since we were traveling as a family of 4 adults, and both of the rooms were amazing. I was just a littl..."e bit disappointed since our rooms were not close to each other, but disappointment did not last long. We had very fancy room on a high floor with beautiful sea view and balcony. We were so lucky that we visited it in May, so not a high season so w got really good room price, but weather was perfect, so we could enjoy balcony and the atmosphere. What I liked the most in this hotel is great pool, and its location. It is on a walking distance from the centre, but still on side so whole ambience was so nice. If you are visiting Hvar, this hotel should definitely be your choice! Prices in it can be high in peak season but if you would have opportunity to visit it in May as we did or later in ... " More >
