Our room was a deluxe with an ocean view and a small balcony. The free buffet breakfast at the hotel was good and had a variety of foods to choose from. Lunches were also good, but the only dinner we ate at the hotel was horrible. Although few of the staff spoke English, they were all excellent, from the Reception (particulary Junior who spoke excellent English) to the restaurant staff to the pool guy to the maid.   "Wow! A lot of people had bad experiences at this hotel but my experience was great. I travelled last year with a group of 17 people and we received great service from the staff. They were friendly and really went out of their way to help us even when our Portuguese was terrible. The location is grea..."t (a minute away from the beach). Our rooms were cleaned every day and we had hot water every morning. The breakfast buffet was awesome with lots of variety. I would recommend this place to other people as my experience and that of the others in my group was very enjoyable.
