Upon arrival at the airport, there are no real Thomas Cook reps to guide you to your transfer, you will also be hassled by people wanting to take your case to the bus,..." of course they expect a tip for this, and they do try and snatch them from you so be aware As people have stated the transfer is around 2 hours if you have a formula 1 driver. They are crazy. We arrived at the hotel at 2 am to be informed the rooms hadn't been allocated and we were to go and eat. Not what you want to hear at such an un earthly hour. When we awoke the next morning we found that the hotel itself is very nice, the Welcome meeting hosted by Philip is excellent, he is by far the best rep i have ever come across. Checking In - When we arrived at the hotel approx 12.00pm we were asked to hand over our passports and told to sit and wait. We were then given a form to fill in after a 10/15 min wait and told to hand back in to the reception staff. When we did this we were informed that our rooms were not ready and that we would need to wait for approx another 40mins for the room to be ready. When you have just arrived after the plane journey and then the 2hr transfer from the airport this wait seems like forever.
