We usually stay with family, but this time we decided to splurge. We got a rate of $187 (+ taxes, etc. about $200), including wi-fi, directly through the hotel (same as through Expedia and others) for an ocean-front room with 2 double beds. Glad we did. The views of the ocean; the restaurant Rosa Nautica (set out from the shore, at the end of a wooden pier); the park below the hotel (Parque Salazar); and Larcomar (shopping center carved on the side of the hill) were awesome.
