Roberto makes good breakfast and it was nice to chat with Ann-Marie, Sylvie and Roberto in the evenings, when we returned from our various activities. What I liked best about the place: It's not right by Alona beach, which is a bit crowded. Walking out of our door, we were on a little village street and 7 minutes walk from the local beach. There were always motorbikes waiting by a little shop, that took us to Alona beach for a small fee, when we wanted to (about 5 minutes by motorbike). Sylvie recommended going to Linaw resort for dinner and it was the best food we had in Panglao, very tasty, nice service and right on the beach. Thanks for a great holiday... " More >

  "We stayed in the "dormitory room" which is 5-6 rooms with a common area with TV. It has a large common separate bathroom for men and women . Our 1st night was ok because our group occupied 2-3 rooms and there were no other visitors. Our 2nd night was a little irritating since other guest arrived b..."ecause of the noise & they "do not clean up" the bathroom after using. No fault to the hotel since you really can't teach people good manners. Although the hotel should send the cleaners more often. The good thing is that they left after 2 days so we again enjoyed a clean and "peaceful" stay in the dormitory room. One thing I appreciate with the hotel is that they employ deaf people as their staff in the restaurant. They can provide a massage service for a cheap price. They also provide a "fish spa" for a minimum charge. They have small pool and a nice restaurant. Overall the exterior and interior of the hotel is good, I would definitely come back, but I would rather stay in one of their ... " More >

Not a big deal, as we understand the adjustment in pricing is standard on any kind of business anyway. All of my inquiries thru e-mail was answered promptly and completely, thanks to Quenie. We traveled as a couple, and we were picked up at the airport by a brand new Hiace Grandia, the driver was courteous and informed us of basic information about the resort. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist and handed us the room key, she also answered my additional questions with a smile.
