There is no view to speak of out of any of the rooms - so don't come prepared to enjoy what it out of your window. The rooms are always..." clean and fresh. The lobby and main areas are large and airy. I love the atrium. The continental breakfast is just that - fruit, cereal, bagels, coffee, juice, biscuits...but it's always kept stocked and clean. The staff from housekeeping to front desk to management are always happy to assist you and greet you with a smile. This is my favorite chain of hotels and this is one of my favorite locations.   "We had two rooms for my son's graduation. The rooms were pricey and had to stay a minimum of two nights but we had few alternatives. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The best part was the shuttle service which took us everywhere we needed to go and promptly, no need to search for parking. Th..."e driver, Jordan, was lots of fun. He had a hectic job the day of graduation, but still had a smile and joined in our laughter. Would stay again, maybe try the spa next time. Only downfall, when we checked out with the rest of the guests, we decided to stay for lunch at the Hoydt House. Service took forever, even though we were the only family there.   "My husband and I stayed at this Holiday Inn during a recent pleasure trip to GA. We stayed 2 nights in Athens at this hotel. Hotel is very nice and very close to the University, maybe about 2 blocks away. Our room was very clean, really nice with a king bed and room to spread out. The room was ..."larger than the typical Holiday Inn "Express" room and the bed was beyond comfortable. The rate we paid was very competitive but we check extensively before we book for the best rate possible. In the morning the hotel had a full breakfast provided for free. The food was actually good and consisted of more than the usual sweet stuff set out by most hotels. Plus you can sit down and eat your breakfast in the large front lounge area that has nice tables and tv's. So while you eat you can catch up on the news if you like.
