  "We had a wonderful time in Placencia and Los Porticos Villas was the icing on the cake. The location was perfect. Just outside of the village but close enough to be anywhere in 10 minutes or less on our golf cart. We stayed in an ocean front villa and the view was amazing. The sound of the waves put..." us to sleep every night. The staff at Los Porticos were so kind and helpful. Gayone arranged all of our tours, made dinner reservations and booked massage appointments. We couldn't have asked for a better,relaxing vacation. Make sure to get gelato at Tutti Frutti and eat dinner at Maya Beach Bistro. Ask for the Peanut Brittle Pie. Its amazing! Even though all the restaurants had great food, these were our favorites. We stayed 10 days and it was not enough. We will definitely be returning to Placencia and staying again at Los Porticos Villas. " More >

  "We stayed here for three nights,the resort is very beautiful,lots of trees and flowers. Only problem for us,was the fact that it was about 5-6miles from town,so a taxi or golf cart was necessary to get to town.Other downside was the room,we had a one bedroom,which was so small,you could hardly turn ..."around in it,not only that,but was very dated and badly in need of remodeling.One thing was great,that was the ocean view from our back porch.One staff member was very nice to us.
