Things started poorly: arriving heavily laden on a Saturday night from Australia, the receptionist could not find our booking or anybody to deal with the situation speedily. After 15 ..."minutes or so, we were given keys to our room and vouchers for a complimentary drink at the hotel beer. The latter proved to be severely limited, however, with my wife finding that her choice of wine was basically limited to the very cheapest. That said, the room was fine: comfortable, clean, big bed and good en suite. The second room was even better - because of our earlier experience? - bigger and airier, more appealingly located and coming with some very enjoyable chocolates! All the lifts were working as well! I would recommend this hotel; we enjoyed our stays, finding the staff to be very friendly, helpful and efficient, in spite of the inital hiccup. Computer access was free ... " More >
