  "Wow what a place! The staff were brilliant, the room was spotlessly clean, the communal kitchen was huge and there is a great courtyard. The location is not far from anything and and if we could we would have stayed a lot longer. One of the best we stayed in after 18 months of travel."

  "Stayed here for 3 nights for a bit of R&R in a 1 Bdr room . Upon check in all staff where very friendly & helpful & all requests where on the money . The room was a good size & a great bathroom loved the 2nd tv in the bedroom & kitchen & room had every thing you could need . The pool & gym where gre..."at also . Apart from the genral staff i would like to thank the house keeping ladies for the fantastic job they did , all ways very friendly . There are only 2 faults i found on my stay & they where the aircon filtters hadnt been cleaned in a while " Dont get me wrong 9/10 places i have stayed no matter how many stars the aircon filters where also dirty " The 2nd the lounge & chair in the room had some nasty stains on them house keeping did there best to clean them for me :). All in all close to everything & a great place to stay & great staff . Ps Any chance of some more cable channels other than sports ??? " More >

  "If you are looking for views of Magnetic Island this is the Hotel for you. All rooms face the water and the Strand below in this high rise building. It is a little dated but refurbishment is continuing. We stayed in a studio type room which was clean and pleasant will all the requirements includi..."ng kitchen facilities and refrigerator. It was pleasant and suited our stay. Hotel staff were helpful and obliging although small mistakes were a little annoying at the time but were rectified. Furniture in the rooms was adequate but chairs broke a number of times and needed to be replaced. The view was fabulous and close to shops (Coles supermarket, newsagent and McDonalds just 2 streets away) as well as restaurants and hotel walking distance. The Strand was terrific in that you had your own park just across the road and the walking trails were beautiful and well maintained. Swimming pool also good you could hire beach towels for $2.50 per day and they were laundered and fresh ne... " More >
