  "A beautiful small hotel, close to the sea. Good breakfast, clean rooms. You can sunbathe on the sand. The beach is covered by water, but there are benches and cliffs where you can lie down. Also, the hotes has a roof terace with sunbeds. There are no supermarkets: a food truck comes every day..." at noon or you can buy delicious icecream, fruits salad, chocolate, biscuits and water from little shops. Food you can eat at the many restaurants along the shorline. The most expensive, peffer steak, about 22 euros. The biggest disadvantage is transportation to Xlendi. From Malta airport we took a bus (almost an hour trip), then the ferry, then a cab (sick about the bus). I would always come back! " More >

  "7 glorious days at San Andrea, every member of staff welcoming and helpful. Rooms good quality 3*, clean and comfortable. Setting is stunning in little harbour, restaurant fantastic, despite being on 1/2 board we up graded to A la Carte so we could try even more of their fantastic dishes. 1/2 fixed..." menu also excellent as quality extracts of the A la Carte. Value for money, fab place and happy people. Already planning a return trip. Added extra is that the hotel owner also owns a holiday company so they can arrange so many things from walking guides, car hire, to diving days and transfers - makes like so much more simple. We did a walking holiday arranged by hotel on behalf of UK company New Experience - brilliant walking, brilliant guides, fab views and it can be at stroll pace, no need to push yourself, all tailored to suit. Facilities way beyond what is expected of 3 star, flat screen tv, jacuzzi bath, spacious apartment with good quality furniture. Parking at the rear of the hotel. Good breakfast selection with breakfast serv..."ed on the top floor (some tables enjoying sea view). Roof top pool with sunbeds and indoor pool added bonus to this hotel. On the negative side - Way too hard mattress will make me think twice about staying here which is a pity really as this hotel is excellent value for money and enjoys a unique position at Xlendi.
