  "My daughter and I spent a week in Sandy Golf this April. I booked having read lots of reviews, which turned out to be pretty accurate. The bungalows are tightly packed and not very big, and yet it felt very private and peaceful. The grounds are very nicely maintained, with lots of flowering shrubs, ..."the scent of hyacinths (only it can't have been hyacinths) in the air, and bird song. The pool is nice too. I enjoyed watching the resident cats slinking around. Don't bother with food in the sister resort across the road (if you are offered board), but the little restaurants behind the beach (about 20 minute walk) are good value. We had some lovely fresh fish there. The Faro shopping centre seemed a rather sad place, but perhaps it picks up in the summer when there must be more people around. I would happily go back. " More >

  "This was another great holiday at a complex which is quiet and very relaxing. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside to this complex is the restaurant. We dined in the restaurant once - it is buffet stye but it would appear that all the food is cooked at the same time and ..."kept warm, thus it tends to dry out rather quickly. The food, in actual fact, was barely warm. The food at the pool bar is much better and is freshly prepared. Although the complex is out of the way, it is not expensive to hire a cab and the bus fares seem to be very reasonable. We like the place so much that we have a three week holiday booked for September this year. " More >

  "Arrived back to the UK on the 29th of April and had another fantastic stay,this was our 12th visit and i have to say the hotel and staff just keeps getting better. We experienced so many of the small areas of concerns highlighted in the past were either rectified or were in the process of being reso..."lved which is a testament to the management and staff. Once again the whole hotel was very clean and whilst we were not in one of the refurbished rooms it was still kept very clean. The choice of food and the quality was extremely good again so much so we actually only left the hotel once to eat elsewhere. I was really amazing to see how much effort the life guards put in to keeping the pool area clean and safe they worked non stop all day and into the evening to ensure the pool area was spotlessly clean. Finally the staff in the restaurant, once again, made my Holiday we always eat outside and if Enriquez and Nikoss are on duty you will be so well looked after, they always take the ... " More >
