The owners, Dei and Liam, are so helpful and friendly, and they more-than-willingly showed me around and introduced me to the locals. They even picked me up from the bus-stop and gave me a ride to an important event in Blackrock. The guest house is in a nice and safe little area, the rooms are spotless, and the beds are super comfortable. Not to mention the first class breakfast -- trust me when I say it really is the best omelet I have ever had!   "I've stayed at many B&Bs in Ireland, as well as hotels over the many years I've been visiting Ireland and Brookville House is the most welcoming. I've stayed there quite a few times in past 10 years while visiting family in the Blackrock area, and I always enjoy my stay. I've just returned from a 9-..."day stay at Brookville and it was again a wonderful visit. When I stay, I feel like I'm visiting old friends. Over the years I've noticed that Liam and Dei seem to stay ahead of the curve by having the latest amenities such as flat-screen TVs / Blu-ray players, microwave ovens in the room, gourmet breakfasts, etc before they were universally available at other B&Bs. I had some spare time while there and the DVD library came in handy as I was able to watch a couple of movies. The breakfasts are huge and will keep you filled up most of the day.   "I do an incredible amount of travelling and only strarted doing these reviews on Trip Advisor recently to try and help people travelling with a dog have better experiences. I always search Tripadvisor with the "Pets Allowed" box ticked and luckily the selection available is getting better and better...". I never thought we would find a wee gem like Brookville in Dublin, if lm being truthful l wasn't even going to put this up as l wanted to be available for me anytime l was over. If Carlsberg ran a Guest House it wouldn't be far of what Brookville House offers... So, lets tell you a few things about the place and what makes it different. The location it great, a few minutes from Dún Laoghaire port, 5 minutes from the M50 and in a clean and very quiet part of Dublin. Liam and Dei are great hosts and can't do enough for you, the rooms are absolutely superb, they have everything and l mean everything.
