  "My wife booked up for one night on a Saturday. When we arrived the room had been double booked by mistake during a very buisy time. Remedy! The lady we dealt with rang around for us for alternative accommodation, done! our deposit returned, done! We were both offered a free meal in the restaurant a..."nd given a lift from our alternative accommodation back to the Ladybower Inn and back, done ! Now thats what i call service! The accommodation we were were offered was very good and had spectacular views. The meal we had in the restaurant was superb, i had the sea bass and my wife had the half duck, also superb. Tentative staff sealed our evening and great locality of the inn makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the lakes. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the rooms so we cannot give feedback for them. To conclude the Ladybower Inn bent over backwards to remedy the situation and through there efforts gained two more people who would definately stay with them in the near future. " More >

When we have been out for the day, we love arriving back to a warm welcome from Jez, Karen and Jasmine. We have also worked up quite an appetite and the food is more then satisfying! Delicious and traditional home made hearty food. The 'Desperate Dan' Steak and ale pie is a particular favourite of my other half- however I opt for the lighter option of a half portion 'Cows Calf'!
