The corridors are decorated with lots of interesting items and the owners clearly take lots of pride in their business. Many of the rooms, including ours, had a nice little balcony with views over the road and adjacent forest. We did not try the restaurant, although the menu (with an emphasis on local produce) did look good. The breakfast showed a strong French influence and was more than adequate; both dining rooms and bar overlooked lush gardens. Overall ambience was superb and we would have liked to have spent more time here as the hotel is ideally situated for any exploration of the area and would be a good base for walks in the Petit Suisse countryside. There is a road in front, between the inn and the river, but it didn't have much traffic in late June. Lovely patio with a view of the hillside opposite Direct access to the extensive network of hiking trails in the region. Breakfast was very good and the dinner menu looked terrific. We had meals included so weren't able to choose from the menu for dinner. One evening the meal was really great and the other night only ok. Always great service and ambiance. I think that the chef would have been happy to design a meal around our preferences but we were out hiking all day and chose not to engage. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in the...
