The staff are fantastic, friendly, efficient and go out of their way to make sure you ave everything you need.   "As mentioned below, the hotel now has friendly young people who provide a warm welcome and speak good English. The decor is a bit odd, and the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was up to standard for this class of hotel. Wifi is free, and previously was not, as I saw from the room card, so well don..."e to them for moving with the times. Overall it is atmospheric, and with the bonus of a good restaurant, as mentioned in the Rough Guide. I had dinner there both nights, and enjoyed it. There is a nice terrace,but the restaurant is quite small, so book. I give it four stars because the staff made me feel at home. One important thing, if traveling by train, and with a heavy case, do yourself a favour and take a taxi. Tubingen is a lovely city but built on a steep hill with narrow cobbled streets. " More >

  "We have now stayed at this hotel twice, both times in the secondary building, across from the restaurant and lobby. Both rooms were clean and inviting and looked out on a small garden.
