  "Booked 4 nights for a short break. All the staff were friendly & helpful, there was a mix up with the room I was allocated. I'd asked for a wheelchair accessible room, the reception staff were great. Full of apologies, they realised that they'd given me the wrong room (I hope they didn't notice t..."he scratched paint work!!!) They sorted everything out and moved my bags into the new room, as I was having a complimentary drink in the bar. The hotel is fully accessible, they have thought of everything, a lowered sink in the bathroom, wet room power shower area, they even provide hand rails if you need them. I loved the quirky floorboards, creaking as you roll over them. Breakfast wasn't a disappointment, you name it they had it and each morning there was a table already prepared so I didn't have to faff. I will be definitely going again, but next time I'll book a sea view. There is a ramp into the hotel, but no drop-down kerbs (c'mon Scarborough Council, get it sorted!!) " More >
