Afternoon tea is also meant to deliver high quality tea and artisanal cakes served with superlative service with a smile and Wivenhoe House delivers on many fronts.   We have dined her..."e for Afternoon tea once before, when the hotel first opened and (you can read my review), was just OK – however they have improved on many areas.   Firstly, the location of where the afternoon tea is served was much better as they have moved one room and replaced it with the fine dining restaurant. This layout is much better as the sound just carries better from the newly positioned room. No longer does the room feel too long and silent but there is now a hint of ambiance with flowing conversational noise throughout!   The service too has been improved.
