  "Byrkjedalstunet is a bit off the beaten track. (GPS position N58.77990 E6.31684). It is on route 45, which leads through valleys and over mountains. Closed in winter! As a hotel it is unusual in that the rooms are in individual small and old houses, collected from the surrounding area. The inside..."s, especially the bathrooms, are very modern, though. And, there really is a candle factory on the premises. The food served here is good and wholesome, often based on local produce. Trout, mutton and venison, for instance.
