  "We went as a group to Oslo for a long weekend and had a fantastic time at the Grand Hotel. We made the mistake of getting a taxi from the airport (£130) and got the train back. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station and the service to the airport is good and regular. The Hote..."l has a lovely rooftop bar which is modern in comparison to the old world feel of the hotel itself and the bar is worth a visit if you like a cocktail overlooking the Oslo skyline. It is well located to sightsee and access shops bars and nice places to eat. Its also close the the water to get over to the peninsula and lots of attractions. There are also some nice bars down by the water. The Sculpture park is well worth a visit, although we went daytime and im told evening is the time to go to get the best from this.
