A 5 minute walk to the rail station and you can board one of the frequent trains to Switzerland or be in the wonderful Island city of Lindau in 10 minutes. It's brilliant. Breakfast on the other hand was a little disappointing. It was fine but not great. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet, and really quite nice with English language TV.   "I stayed 1 night at this hotel last summer in order to see opera Andre Chenier at floating stage on Lake Constanz. Very clean room more than expected has 5 beds for family. Unfortunately microwave was not available in room and could not find kitchen so I asked reception person of warming my food. Sh..."e did it using micrewave there. I think this hotel is adequate for family or group for Bregenz festival because of multi bed room, free breakfast and location near to lake. " More >

  "We were traveling by train from Munich to Zurich when I did some investigations about Bregenz. What a great stop for a day.The Mercure is 5 mins walk from the train station. Room was ready before lunch time as the train arrived at 11. Free Wi fi in lobby. Walked out of the hotel into this amazing pa..."rk that follows the banks of the lake.Hundreds of people walking ,playing,eating ice cream and taking boat rides.We walked to the Gondola in the centre of town in 15 mins.Got on Gondola within 3 mins and the views of three countries unfolds before your eyes.walked back had a brilliant dinner in a restaurant by the lake and had a great buffet breakfast at the Mercure next morning. Bed and quite ambience of the Mercure insured a great nights sleep and caught the train to Zurich as easy as you like. " More >
