There is an honesty fridge in the corridor where one finds the most common drinks. Free Wifi throughout. Lighting in the bathroom is very sparse and hardly sufficient for shaving. The staff are welcoming, very attentive and nothing is too much trouble for them. If you pay extra you can have a view over the sea, hills, and if we went again we would probably pay the extra as the views are fab. We went half board and thought the food was excellent.   "the staff here especially in the restaurant gives the gloss to this hotel. the hotel is in a converted farmhouse & has steps to negotiate-hence not easy for the less mobile. the room we stayed in was a bit jaded but was clean & tended daily. the hotel is about a 15 minute slightly uphill walk away ..."from the village centre & the less mobile would need a car to get about as the buses go via Xaghra & do not come towards the hotel. there is plenty to see in Gozo island-a weeks bus pass is only 12 euros & can be bought from the hotel reception. the island is said to be virtually crime free & is definitely laid back for a relaxing holiday " More >
