  "Before going, I had looked at some of the reviews, some which showed this Hotel in a bad light. We were pleasantly surprised.I think the person who said - go expecting 3 star rather than 5 star is right. We had a superior room with a private pool. Although the rooms are quite basic, the sea views ..."are wonderful. It was nice to have a separate shower as well as a bath. The food in the Captains Bar, which is the main Restaurant was freshly cooked and varied. We did not try any cocktails or local spirits but the wine and beer were both good quality. We had a lovely holiday and it was our first time all inclusive and it worked well for us. We hired a car for the day for only 30 euros, the petrol we used cost more. They also do a special deal 70 euros for 3 days. To be picky, a shaver point in the bathroom would be useful.   "We had a lovely holiday from 1st to 8th May my daughter and me, we stayed in room 507 which was lovely and the sea view next to none. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with only having a double bed but was soon sorted out by young man on evening service arranging bedding f..."or my daughter to make up sofa bed. The food was excellent, only thing didn't like was people been allowed to spoke in the restaurant. I would recommend if you can, to get suites with private pool, it made our holiday. I certainly would go back again as the experience overall was great. Thanks to Angela on reception for looking after our needs. Niki’s Pension is a great little place to stay, and we recommend it highly. 3 minutes walk from everywhere, 3 hours if you get lost as it is such an absolute maze! We had a great view of the old city from our first floor balcony, worth paying extra for that. Michalis, the host was very helpful, and speaks good English. As can be expected in a very old building, the room was small, but comfortable and functional. Our micro bathroom likewise, everything worked OK. There are steep outdoor stairs, which were not a problem for us but might be slippery when wet.
