  "If you're looking for cheap but great, you found the spot! For 3$ you'll have your own hut, in a quiet place a little out of Sen Monorom. Hut is clean and functional, just a mattress on a floor, but quiet comfortable actually, a mosquito net, a plug for electricity and a lamp. We actually did not ex..."pect much for the price, but were pleasantly surprised, as we even had wifi on the room... We met great people at this place, with which we went on a jungle trek for 2 days/1 night which was OK... Nothing exceptional but thye guides, although not fluent in English, were really nice and funny (if you trek with them make sure you'll go with "it's OK"!). Tours were 15$/day for a 6people group, the cheapest in town. But do not expect much from the tour, food wasnt good and we did not see much except forest... and rice wine! The food was great on the first days, although expensive... but the last days the lady cook was in a terrible mood and all we ordered was really bad... and still as exp... " More >

  "This place offers thatched bamboo bungalows for $3 a night. It's set pretty much in the Cambodian rainforest and has the most wonderful hosts. If nature, bugs, outside toilets isn't your thing, then just don't come here! But if you want to feel Cambodia and the wild, and fancy the idea of having a ..."fresh breakfast looking over a rainforest then do! I can't really say much about cleanliness because it is in a hut but all the linen was clean and fresh. They also have mosquito nets up for you, as there are a lot of mozzies about. The food is tasty and dead cheap. And the free wifi is a bonus. By far the best thing has been sitting with friends, having good food in the midst of a tropical rainstorm. Location wise, the town is close but there's not a great deal going on. But if you're here for hikes, it's perfect. The owner 'tree' can organise it all for you.
