The old and new Royal Hotels are within one block from each other, so if you arrive at the old one with the yellow sign, walk down the hill and turn left at the first street. There was a sign on the old hotel providing you with directions that make perfect sense in Italian, but not in the English translation provided. Our room was clean with a North American sized shower. Room safe was available. Breakfast was usual European fare, brioche, breads, cheeses, meats and fruit. Self serve coffee with many options for coffee type.
