  "We have just returned from a fabulous week at the Paradise Club. Our check in was fast and efficient with a porter on hand to help with bags. Our apartment was on the 7th floor with great views over Las Americas, it was adequately equipped although I agree with other reviewers that some of the fixt..."ures need updating ( particularly the ceiling fans & the lack of broadband access in the apartments). We were very impressed with the levels of cleanliness throughout the complex, regularly seeing staff wiping railings etc from early morning. We ate regularly at Zacharys throughout our stay and can honestly say we NEVER had any complaints.We found all the staff friendly and helpful with some speaking 3 -4 languages.   "Stayed at this hotel with my Mum and a family friend. It's 3* and cheap enough to book, so we didn't expect anymore which iI think a lot of people tend t do, if you want 5* luxury-pay for it. It's a basic hotel but very clean and more than enough facilities to self cater with. It had a massive terr..."ace which was great for sunbathing on! There was a lovely pool area but because we hit some bad weather we just waited in the apartment until the sun came out and jumped onto the terrace while it was out! It is a fair walk to the centre, so unless you're fit to walk I wouldn't recommend, it's on quite a hill too. The Thomas Cook rep there persuaded us to go on their pub crawl, which ended up being one of the most amazing nights of my life, but also THE worse hangover (at 21 years old) but definitely recommend this is you're up for a laugh and A LOT of drink! I especially liked the big private patio with sunloungers (shame about the building work going on in surrounding apartments though!) Unfortunately there was also building work going on at the po..."ol and so it wasn't very peaceful so we didn't spend as much time here as I would have liked. The location is great for exploring and I would recommend walking along the coast to San Blas and also further along to Los Abrigos, both nice towns. The seafood in Los Abrigos is the best in the area and well worth trying. " More >
