  "The hotel is a clean, new hotel. A lot of business people stay here during the week. The rooms are very nice with large, good beds. But it was very, very warm in the room! The air conditioning did not work well (in april!). The shower was cold-warm-cold-warm all the time, which was not very comforta..."ble. The hotel was aware of this problem, but not able to fix it. The restaurant serves a very good breakfast, enough of everything. We had 1 diner in the restaurant. The food was very good, although a little overprized, but the whole diner lasted for only 35 minutes! We never had a diner that fast and that is nog very comfortable.   "I coach a Lego Robotics team and we took 4 rooms at the Best Western Arosa in Paderborn during a recent international tournament. This meant one adult plus up to 3 kids in the same room. Although overrun with teams like ours from the tournament, the staff was polite and helpful - a great help to all..." of us. The property is nice and clean. It is a bit sprawling, which meant a strange route to our "family rooms" that included 2 elevators and a confusing set of directions to master. For example - get off on floor 2 but when your return, what was floor 2 going up is now floor 7 coming down??? Great breakfast buffet with plenty of American choices. Very central location. Nice indoor swimming pool that the kids loved -- NOTE: no shallow end! Also note that the "sleeper sofa" does NOT pull out. It was a simple, curved banquet cushion. Thank heavens that one of the girls was tiny enough to sleep there without issue. " More >
