Rooms looks very small - we booked superior DBL seaview and it was just a small piece of sea between two buildings... Breakfast was just average. Advice - do not ask for capuccino, bec..."ause it's made from the sachet with the smells etc., not from the freshly grounded coffe. "Cafe au lait" much much better. There is a gym and steam room, but we didn't use it, so no comments on this. They have it's own garage for 17 EUR/night, but in end of April there was not a problem to find a parking on the street nearby. " More >

  "Just returned from a two night stay at Grand Hotel Barriere. On our arrival the reception staff made us feel very welcome, offering us complimentary refreshments. We were escorted to our room and the facilities were carefully explained. The room was well appointed, although being from the UK we miss..."ed tea making facilities, but we were in France after all. The dinner was very nice, the waiting staff very personable. On the last morning the restaurant was very busy with a coach party. However the staff paid special attention to ensure we were looked after and the buffet was quickly replenished. Checkout was quick and efficient. I was very pleased that I had pre-booked the valet parking which took the worry out of trying to park the car. My wife enjoyed the pool. We could not fault the staff at the Hotel, having enjoyed the group's hotel in Cannes a few years ago. My only negative comment is that wifi was not complimentary, a facility that is so useful when away from home.Richard Wiggins " More >
