  "Spent last night (20th May) here. I was on a study tour with 9 youths and had originally booked in at Marthrown of Mabie but on arrival there, the noise from the generator was horrendous. We went to Mabie house for a meal and enquired about the cost of staying there. It wasn't a great deal more t..."han the hostel (taking into consideration that we had king size beds and bedding thrown in!) so we quickly collected our bags and moved!! The food was excellent and although they weren't expecting us we didn't have to wait too long. Considering that there were another 11 visitors who had descended on them unannounced, the staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous - I suspect that this comes naturally to them and they were fantastic. If ever in the area again, this is where I will be staying and one of the lads took details as he's considering having his wedding there - if the girlfriend approves, of course! " More >
