Alderney is a beautiful quiet island, and it is nice to wander around on the various walks with stunning scenery and wander back to the hotel for a quiet drink overlooking the bay. Would love to come back when the weather is slightly warmer, although the sun shone for us whilst we were there. The only disappointment we had was our plane had to turn back due to fog, so we missed one night, however, Richard, the excellent Manager had our breakfast ready when we arrived the next morning.
