For this we got an enormous room: the bathroom had two sinks, both so high up that I wished for something to stand on, and the shower could have taken four people! The bedroom needed better lighting & more comfortable seating, had not been vacuumed in some time and was equipped with lighweight foam bedding. Nevertheless the bed was extraordinarily comfortable and we both slept very well. The night was utterly silent and we were woken by the bells of the church across the street.   "We have stayed here for years on our trips to the med. They used to have a red R in the Michelin guide however they lost it somewhere along the way. Food is still very good at very reasonable price (3 course menu only €19!! and good!) The charm of the hotel has been somewhat lost in the redecoratio..."n and refurbishment that has been done in recent years. Obviously they contracted an interior decorator with horrendous taste.....even down to the plates and cups which are awful! Hotel has lost some of the french country charm it had but still very good value for money. Very quiet surroundings and close bough to the motorways to get there easily.
