  "I was really put off by reviews after I booked this Travelodge. But was pleasantly surprised. Okay, the location is not good but not far from Canterbury. Our room was clean, comfy and warm. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Would have been better if the Little Chef had been open. "

Although situated just off the busy A2 Dover road it is a quiet relaxing spot. OK it is room only and the nearest place ..."for dinner is a half mile away, the Red Lion at Dunkirk is a friendly place serving decent food at a reasonable price. If you are looking for 5* accomodation with michelin starred restaurant then go someplace else, the Ritz it ain't but for me it was fine To the boys & girls who looked after an old geezer with an old motorbike who went to the John Bull Rally in Belgium I say "Thank you" :) " More >
