I used the treadmill in the exercise room, it was of average quality. The pool area was nice and the kids enjoyed it. The parking lot needs to be re-surfaced, however it was nice to have the car in a covered area with lots of cameras. Location wise the hotel is ideal if your in town for shopping. We had a 2 burner flat top stove a toaster and a microwave and there were 2 bars stools to sit at. 2 tv's one in the living area and one in the bedroom. The hotel was new And the carpet In the hallway still smelled new. Our room w..."as cleaned well but it didn't seem that many people had stayed in the room. I did overhear another guest complaining that their room was dirty. The hotel was lacking a few things like a room directory and channel list. The breakfast was very poor. There was toast muffins and cereal. No milk. I asked the front desk and had to wait a long time. There were no trays to take stuff back to our room. Very frustrating. We had a kitchenette and would have preferred to use it for our breakfast. I will stay again, I just hope they work out the kinks from being newly open. " More >

  "This is usually our "goto" hotel in winnipeg, as we are hilton honours points collectors, it had been awhile since our last stay as the hotel always seems to be booked, or the pricing is exceptionally high. The hotel as a whole is well maintained to the standard that you would expect from a hilto..."n property, I did however notice that is a much different clientele than what it usually is. Usually it is more of and adult hotel with very few kids (usually just ours!) however this time it was packed with kids. We had a few issues with the TV and the toilet in our room, housekeeping came and tried to fix it, and eventually we got it all figured out, for our trouble, the front desk manager gave us free vouchers for breakfast which was great. Bottom-line is the hotel is still great, and I will continue to stay there when it is available and reasonably priced, however there are 2 more hilton property hotels being built in the area so there will be some additional options for HH points ...
