If you have mobility issues (I have had those in the past so I pay attention) be aware that there is a narrow staircase to get to the room, and parking is not always available near the hotel. The hotel is on the main street in Ganges. The main problem for me was that our room was on the street side, which meant it was fairly noisy during the day when the window was open. It got pretty quiet at night, although there was still the random car driving by at night. Since I like a lot of fresh air and the window open this did affect me. I stayed in the Ganges Room which is the smallest, but comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated. There is also a lounge with lots of dvd's, books and a few magazines along with anytime coffee, tea and pastries. The decks outside provided a quiet, relaxing space to enjoy some sun and again listen to the sounds of nature. Their ducks and geese are fascinating to watch and the eggs they produce are a different and wonderful treat for breakfast!
