My husband insisted we stay the night although we were already booked in another hotel in Vigan. I could not say no as I too wanted to stay there. We were then given accommodation at an old house with 2 bedrooms. It we old but the air conditioning units were new. Great great great! Cold and comfy rooms, clean but everything was old Filipino!!   "This travel was done in Feb of 2010. While visiting my wife's hometown, I contacted the manager and also our good friend, Rayboy. Although we did stay only for the entire day, we were amazed by the collection of houses as my wife, so aptly describes as "Old Ilocos". We managed to look at the r..."ooms, chapel and other sights that the resort had to offer. The Service was excellent. We had lunch facing the beach and the sea. Although we were not able to stay overnight. I am looking forward to staying for several days when we visit ilocos again to see and experience the resort after sundown.   "During our 12 hour drive from Manila to Currimao Raymund, the manager at the resort was in touch to check on our progress. We arrived at 7:10pm and were immediately enchanted by the beauty of the resort, the way that it is lit at night is fantastic. We had rented the ground floor of one of the house..."s, and were shown there and given refreshing drinks before we freshened up for dinner on the beach. Dr. Cuanang was there and greeted us warmly; the last time we met was in March 2011 when I was in the ICU at St. Luke's Medical Centre in The Fort! Our 2 night stay was just the best break after a hectic few weeks in Manila. The resort was great to kick back in and use as a base for exploring Ilocos. Dr. Cuanang and Raymund were always on hand to check that all was OK, and the rest of the staff were very well trained so the service was excellent. " More >
