I was lucky to stay on the beach side of the resort. Important to keep in mind you will pay a premium to be on this side. If you can pay up it is well worth it! An easy elevator ride to the Lobby level and you are at the pool/beach area. Important to note that a walkway goes over the road and connects the resort side of the hotel. Rooms here are cheaper but a nice walk to the beach area. Note - if you enjoy pools over the beach there is ZERO reason to go to the Caymans! Beach is as nice as it gets.   " We had a wonderful visit to the Westin at 7 Mile Beach! The Westin is located on the best stretch of beach on 7 mile Beach. When you get down toward the Marriott there is hardly any beach. We never had issues getting a chair on the beach or pool and the pool/beach staff were very friendly. Westi..."n provided large water jugs by the pool/ beach and 2 complimentary bottles of water per day in the refrigerator in the room. We loved to complimentary juice in the lobby! There is a lack of umbrellas on the beach, people must remember it it a public beach and resorts are lucky enough to be able to put anything out there and/or not have to charge extra. Location is very convenient, and it helps to have a car. Red Sail is located at the Westin which was handy to rent snorkeling gear. We found their other prices to be very overpriced.
