  "A friend introduced me to the Grand Case Beach Club several years back and I've been there six times so far. It is my heaven on earth! And being within walking distance of some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean is a great plus! No need for car rentals or cabs for dinner. To "me" being on vacation means being able to walk out of my door and be right 'on' the beach, and the Grand Case Beach Club has two - on one you can even raise a small flag by your chair and have someone serve you drinks on the beach - how can you beat that? And breakfast each morning overlooking the ocean while drinking coffee and munching on French bread and croissants is marvelous. The Sunset Café also has wonderful lunch and dinner options.   "Just returned from a week's stay at Le Petit Hotel. The property, room and service completely lived up to the reviews I'd read about Le Petit. The room was very well thought out, so well appointed and just lounging on the balcony was heavenly. Everything is immaculately maintained. If you like to travel with your own soundtrack, know that the rooms have iPod-ready stereo systems, CD players and free wifi (if you want to stream music). I would easily stay again at this property or at its sister property, L'Esplanade. That said, here are a few thoughts and "wish I'd known" notes. The island is relatively small, but, especially if you are on the French side, getting to a beach can be a task. Renting a car is really a good idea.   "Let me sum this up: perfect little hotel. This is not a resort. They were very easy to deal with via email to arrange our trip. We stayed one night, then had to go to a different area of the island for a wedding, then came back 3 more nights. They were great about working us in for an early c..."heck in and incredibly friendly. The best thing is that it is such a well run operation, you really don't need them for much. If you are thinking about something, they probably already have done it (2 beers, cokes/diet cokes, sprite and big bottles of Fiji water on the house await you in the fridge)...oh and Famous Amos cookies! Room was beach front. Literally you could walk right out to the ocean and there was a massive private porch off our room that could be accessed from our room or the separate living room.
