We rented a Jeep from the concierge desk. If you are renting a vehicle, go with a Jeep so you can explore the dirt roads leading to more remote areas. Don't miss Dune Preserve right next to the resort on the beach. Be sure to see Bankie Banx perform. If you know nothing about Bankie, read up on him before your trip. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. Good quality food, great selection. They should think about putting in an egg station. You have to order your eggs & they take about 20 minutes to come.   "Cuisinart will knock your eye out with its beauty, which begins on the road in! Landscaping is gorgeous. Rooms were HUGE with an absolutely beautiful bathroom. Nice beach with great view of St. Martin. Dinner at Italia was the best of any island restaurant that we tried during our stay. Breakfa..."st has an excellent selection from the buffet and eggs, omlets, etc. cooked to order are included. Nice pool. Housekeeping was the best we've ever had in the Caribbean. The not so great: WIFI in the room was very weak and spotty. Couldn't even get a connection on the balcony or the breakfast area. Safe was too small to hold a netbook. Don't even know if an Ipad would fit. There is NO regular in-room coffee maker, just a Nespresso espresso machine. Privacy/make up room card is the type that hangs on the door handle. We had a lovely beachfront suite and agree with the other reviewers, these suites offer spectacular views, spacious and comfortable with large bathrooms. I was traveling with a varied group of American and French and we all seemed disappointed. Breakfast was worthy of a thumbs up. The beach furniture was indeed a mess so I can imagine 2 years later what it must look like now.
