Room was very clean n staff was nice.based on tip on trip advisor we booked 2nd floor room with patio. It was good to see cluster of stars in clean night sky n feel warm sun during bright spring day. lodge had dinning fascility as well and breakfast/brunch was dillicous. When we saw the reviews we were first hesitant but there was no other lodge available.At the end it was good choice. It appers that lodge has two different types of stays based on price so check on web site if you are booking proper one.   "Although the rooms were a little dated which is usually the case with in the park accommodation, the cleanliness was second to none. The room was very spacious with 2 double beds and lots of room to move around. The hotel itself is situated between the El Tovar and the Bright Angel which are prett..."y much next door so you can use their restaurants / bars, etc. the El Tovar restaurant was by far the best. You are literally on the edge of the canyon so the location is perfect, as the entry to the park is a few miles away I would definitely recommend paying the extra to stay on site.   "We spent three nights here in a King Suite and found it to be very enjoyable. The hotel is very old but the rooms are very well maintained. The location of the hotel makes it very special with easy access to the canyon rim .Comfortable bed, good service and a great location!"
