  "The castle is impressive and our stay at Chateau de Noizay was overall pleasant. We received an upgrade, but unfortunately the room was located on the top floor and the windows were small which made the room dark and less welcoming. The best part of our stay at Chateau de Noizay was the five-course ..."dinner. The local white wine that was recommended to us was excellent and the desert was among the best we have ever had in France, the taste, the texture and the presentation.   "A truly "Royal" experience....."
  "From the moment we approached the Chateau de Noizay, we knew we were in for a treat... Past the stately entrance gate, the driveway to the chateau meandered through their gorgeous grounds puctuated by beautiful flowers and statues....and as you come around the corner, WOW !..the magnificent Chateau...". (The Relais & Chateaux brand has never let us down.) Greeted by name by the Concierge in the parking lot, with a warm welcome and a helpful hand with our bags, we were shown our reserved room and offered a discounted upgrade to the Prince de Conde suite - with a spectacular carved four-poster canopy bed and a huge washroom with luxurious amenities. The period decoration of the reception area (with stained glass, authentic suits of armour, and ancient wooden stairway) complemented the history of the Chateau (in it's relation to the Amboise Conspiracy) and added significantly to the charm.
